OUR HOMES HAVE A PURPOSE  ..........    and REPURPOSE

tl.png

repurpose- verb 1. to adapt or utilize (something) for a new purpose.

Granville earned a reputation for mitigating bad sites, namely our own, and was approached by several builders to restart or finish their sites.

See saved sites on how we bootstrapped other sites.

THE CLAIRE MODEL

A multi-gen Victorian

Surely the Victorian begs our Creative Spirit. In the Atlantic Monthly, a well respected

19th-century home publication, we see it bowing to our human nature as well.

" An Authentic Victorian was a home family wanted to live in even if they didn't like

each other."

"WORKS OF ART"

For marginal sites

logo teal 12-18-22_edited_edited.png

In 1992 at Salem Woods in Stony Brook  New York, we took a marginal site that was steep slope with a parking lot and a Train track on

its southern border, along with a gas station and some small stores serenaded by cars and train whistles. Every builder on Long Island had passed

on it. We saw it as the textbook site for the Old Railway Stations and Victorian Romance whose vestiges can be seen across the country today. An excursion can be seen in our homepage video. It was on this highly visible site that we introduced our first multi-level, multi-gen Authentic Victorian homes to Long Island and the modern world.

"CHRISTMAS COURT"

A True Neighborhood

The Sayville patch dubbed our Collins court in Bay Port, "Christmas Court" and said

"People from all over long island come in their toasty cars to see the houses on this

well-known street and instantly lose the Grinch's spirit".

IHere you can see how our Works of Art can measure up to many different markets

Two people standing in front of any house.

Do you see that house?

Yes, I do.

Do you think someone designed and built it?

Why of course.

How do you know? do you know the architect or builder?

No, I don't.

Then how do you know someone built it?

Because it's there and I can see it!

The same holds True for everything you see around you!

"Every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of                                                       Everything"

Hebrews 3:4
